Rachel Edwards, Cake Designer

Rachel Edwards has always had a passion for design. In her early 20's she trained as an interior designer and she has enjoyed a lifelong love affair with the romance of French design.

Rachel discovered a raw natural talent for the art of cake decoration by chance and became fully absorbed in honing this new skill. She returned to college for 4 years, gaining qualifications to the very highest level with two distinctions in Cake Decoration and Sugar Flowers. She also undertook a years training for NVQ level 3 in Patisserie.

Today Rachel is a highly sought after cake designer and runs her own successful Cake Design business from her basement studio in Sheffield, remaining personally involved in every cake she designs. Through hard work and genuine talent she has developed an enviable reputation, throughout her native Yorkshire and much further afield, for creating truly inspirational cakes.

Uniquely Personal Design Consultation

Having a cake designed by Rachel Edwards is a truly personal experience. Every cake begins with a Consultation where Rachel will work with you to absorb your ideas, aspirations and influences. She will then explore a range of different approaches and ideas for creating your special and individual cake.

Following this consultation, Rachel will a create mood board and sketches of the finished design for your approval, before beginning the process of creating and finishing your cake.
